EQUITIVITY

Equitivity

Supported by horses, Equitivity is a holistic and fun approach that boosts your child's physical, emotional, social and cognitive development.
This comprehensive program is designed for toddlers and preschool children.

Equitivity

Fun games and exercises on horseback, in one on one sessions, and age appropriate art projects, in small groups or single sessions, can help develop both lobes of the brain (logical and creative) to boost your youngster's intellect, while giving him/her the prerequisites to become a successful equestrian.

Equitivity

On horseback, the pedagogic games involving shapes, colors and objects promote use of the logical thinking associated with the left hemisphere. Stories and music foster creative thinking associated with the right hemisphere and encourage increased curiosity. The children will be exposed to new words in context, an important aspect of language acquisition. The multidimensional walk of the horse fosters interaction between both sides of the brain and stimulates the vestibular system, where initial sensory integration takes place.

Equitivity

The single most distinctive advantage of this approach is the horse. Physical contact with one of the most powerful but gentle animals in the world gives physically measurable results by multitudinous measures. Bonding with an animal will increase your child's confidence, allowing and encouraging a healthy independence later in life, increases IQ levels, and is highly correlated with improved coordination, exploratory behavior, and a decrease in aggressive tendencies.

Equitivity

Let's get messy and have fun. Each week we have a new art activity planned for your child to explore. In small groups, we encourage the children to engage in finger-painting real horses and other age appropriate art projects. Inspired by Native American art work, our activities often utilize recycled materials to benefit nature. Our nurturing and safe outdoor environment helps your child to feel secure and encourages social and emotional development, while fostering the natural creativity every child is born with.
